I'm Far From Perfection

I've fallen far down this hole,
I'm still spiraling down to oblivion,
and I fear if I don't change my ways,
this is where I'll be till death.

Others fall with me,
in this dark hole without sides,
and the only way I can save them,
is to push them back up in free-fall.

When I lift up others,
I fall faster,
I've failed,
my descent into this bottomless pit.

There is only one who falls at my pace,
a blue dragon who wishes to keep me company,
she tries to keep up,
that's all that matters.

Neither of us are perfect,
but it seems we are perfect for each other,
if we can save a few and stay together,
it will be worth it.
